And you've probably tried it since then. Maybe on a hot summer day on a terrace or somewhere on a beach. But even in lower temperatures, you can still enjoy mojito. Just differently. Remember mojito as you ponder the next dessert. Widely-available mojito ice creams have up to 100 calories per 100 ml. You can also make ice cream at home. Try a refreshing low-calorie recipe for mojito sorbet.

Mix water, sugar, and mint in a pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves, then bring it to boil. Reduce temperature and cook for 4 more minutes. Take out the mint leaves and let the mixture cool. Add lime juice and peel, sparkling water and rum into a bowl and mix well. Pop the mixture into a freezer overnight. Allow the Mojito sorbet to soften a little before serving.
Try different version of mojito
By adding a few unusual ingredients, your favorite summer drink will completely change. These are the ingredients you’ll need to make a special spicy syrup, which will be the base.

Heat the herbs, sugar and water in a pan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove the pan from the heat and leave mixture to cool. Drain in a glass or other resealable container, and store in a fridge for up to one month.
And the you’re just a step away
What will you need?

Put a rosemary sprig in a cocktail shaker with the herb syrup, and leave to stand for a few minutes. Add rum, lime juice, ice and shake. Strain the cocktail into a glass filled with more ice. Top up with soda water to taste, and garnish with lime and rosemary sprig.
Cheers!
